(Dutch) Pancakes

In Calgary, we had the pleasure of going to The Pfanntastic Pannenkoek House with Smalltown Pete, his wife Dawn and some friends of theirs. Dutch pancakes are great. They bake a whole bunch of crap into them and are delicious. We had to wait almost an hour to get in, but it was totally worth it.

I had a bacon & egg pancake. Sour cream is so crucial.

In honour of this Pfanntastic experience, I put together a little party break about pancakes. I tried to get it done in time for Shrove Tuesday, but life got in the way. Whatever. Get off my case. Here it is, a bunch of beats and lyrics all about pancakes. Enjoy.

Got Hot Dogs in your Area?

As some of you probably guessed from our recent all-you-can-eat Hip Hop Halloweenie Roast, Co-op and I are big fans of hot dogs. Nothing beats a hot frankfurter on the street corner after a long, hard gig.

Anyway, we wanna know – are there any dope hot dog spots in your area? Places we just have to hit up while we're in your town? Does your city have a local style of hot dog? Like, if I go up to the lady behind the counter and say, "I'll have my hot dog 'Kelowna style,'" is she gonna dip it in maple syrup or something? Because I'd eat that.

So please, post you hot dog spot suggestions below, and we'll go out of our way to try them out. In the meantime, I'm so fired up about wieners, I just had to express myself through this party break I made - enjoy!

When Co-op and I decided to make party breaks based on our favourite food-related raps, one line by the legendary Large Professor instantly jumped to mind.
